Celebrate Fiestas Patrias September 16th in Epcot’s Mexico Pavilion

Will you be at Epcot this coming weekend?  Disney is planning a special event in the World Showcase that will be fun to experience. Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15-October 15. To begin the celebration of that month, Disney is having a Fiestas Patrias at the Mexico Pavilion in Epcot on Saturday, September 16, 2017. This event celebration Mexican Independence.

2017 World Showcase Musical Acts During Epcot International Food And Wine Festival

When one hears the name Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, one would obviously think it’s all about the food…and the wine. However, there is more to entertain you than food and adult beverages. In addition to the Eat to the Beat concert series, there are World Showcase musical acts in several different countries to enjoy during the Food and Wine Festival.

Epcot after dark

Usually, when I have my family with me on a trip to Walt Disney World, we leave at or before park closing to get some rest.  Since I was travelling alone this trip, I decided to try out the new camera on some after dark shots at Epcot.  I started in France and made my way around the World Showcase toward Mexico.  I was often the only person in any of the countries and when I saw a Cast Member on occasion, they never said a word to me.  I’ll warn you in advance that I’ve never had any photography training, so it’s all just turn off the flash and point and shoot with the Sony DSC-RX100 that I got a while back.
