Epcot’s Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is a princess character meal, set in a medieval castle located in Epcot’s Norway pavilion. I have to admit, I was skeptical about dining here. The menu was a turn off, when I noticed that it was mostly Norwegian food, so this was never “must try” experience. However, on my last trip, I realized how wrong I had been!

|I received these grainy artwork photos via email today and thought I’d pass them along. The new Fairy Tale Hall will occupy the former Snow White’s Scary Adventures building and is said to open sometime in 2013. The concept art shows some type of lounge in the middle of the room and multiple multiple meeting areas. Each princess will have her own area that is themed to her own movie. You can see a frog under Tiana’s photo and the dragon under Aurora’s photo. I wouldn’t bet that those will be the only 3 princesses in the Hall, but it gives us a little peek into what the imagineers are doing.Ricky Brigante states that the artwork came from a “What’s new, What’s next?” presentation in April and sent along this review: http://www.insidethemagic.net/2012/04/walt-disney-world-reveals-new-fantasyland-dates-closer-look-at-princess-fairy-tale-hall-be-our-guest-restaurant-and-more/|
