Disney Warns Guests of Incorrect Park Hours

Walt Disney World changes park hours quite often, and it is often hard to keep up. Now, Disney warns guests of a discrepancy with park hours. Don't let this catch you off guard!

Park hours are a great way to plan which park you would like to visit each day. Walt Disney World posts rather standard park hours in advance, and many times we find them extending park hours. This is great news when you are planning your trip to enjoy both an earlier entry and a later park closing.

And if you're staying at a Disney Resort, take advantage of the extra 30 minutes each morning to enter the parks with the early entry benefit. Take a look at previously extended hours announced HERE.

Our Kenny the Pirate writing team updates you with the latest news on Disney's theme parks. Disney's initial park hours can help you prepare for your visit, but they often change as the dates approach.

Since Walt Disney World park hours are constantly changing, we always recommend double-checking park hours either on the Walt Disney World website or on the My Disney Experience app. This provides the most updated information as your trip approaches...usually.

This morning, as we double-checked park hours on the Walt Disney World 5-day calendar, we were issued this warning:

"Pardon the Inconvenience: Park hours may not be displaying accurately on the calendar at this time. Please refresh the page or use the My Disney Experience app for the most up-to-date information."

Disney Technical Glitches

The My Disney Experience app and website continue to be the heart of planning Disney vacations, both at home and while on vacation. Guests manage reservations, tickets, and itineraries on the "My Plans" section.

However, technical glitches continue to plague both the Walt Disney World website and the My Disney Experience app. One of the most common issues has affected booking dining reservations. With so many issues affecting guests, we hope that Disney IT will improve to make vacation planning a bit more magical for guests.

  1. It seems there might be a problem with the annual passholder reservation system too. We have a resort stay planned for Nov but most of the dates are not showing, anything after the 8th. It has been like that for weeks and now we are 30 days from our first night and still can't make reservations.

  2. I think Disney's tech totally sucks. There is always something wrong with or the system is down for something else. As much as we pay for Disney they could at least get their systems working correctly and consistently!
