You are planning a trip to Walt Disney World! You have your resort room booked and transportation planned, and the next big decision is which parks to visit. One great way to decide which park to visit is the Crowd Calendar available on Character Locator.

Secondly, Park hours are a great way to plan which park you would like to visit each day. Walt Disney World posts standard park hours in advance, often extending these park hours.

Thirdly, check the Park Reservation calendar. Park reservations are still required for guests with non-date-based tickets and Annual Passholders. These reservations are limited, and if a park is unavailable, it is "sold out" for these select guests. This is a pretty good indicator that this Disney Park will be very busy on that date.

Typically, Park Reservations rarely fill up at all 4 Walt Disney World Theme Parks. However, all four parks are sold out for Annual Passholders today.

Why is today, July 19th, so popular for Annual Passholders? At EPCOT, today is the last date to preview the newly reimagined Test Track. Yesterday, even Annual Passholders without a Virtual Queue were able to hop aboard this attraction later in the day.

Last night at Magic Kingdom, guests were delighted by a surprise soft opening of the Disney Starlight nighttime parade. Many guests are hopeful that this will happen again tonight.

The other reason for all 4 Parks being sold out for Annual Passholders may also be that Park Reservations will change tomorrow, July 20th.

Disney made a change for Magic Kingdom Park Reservations starting on July 20, 2025. Annual Passholders visiting Magic Kingdom park at any time of day (including after 2:00 PM) must have a theme park reservation for Magic Kingdom.

Today looks to be a busy one at Walt Disney World. Guests with date-based tickets may still make Theme Park Reservations.

  1. If I want to go to Epcot in the morning but hop over to Mk in the afternoon, do I still need a park reservation for MK and if so, how do I do that?

    1. The input from other annual passholders is that this does not affect park hopping. If you start your day and scan into Epcot, you could then later in the day scan into Magic Kingdom without a specific Magic Kingdom park reservation. I hope this helps.

  2. It’s just nit worth it being a 4th class patron of WDW and ALL PARKS BEING SOLD OUT AND TOMORROW IT CHANGES THAT WE CANT GO YO MK EVEN AFTER 2 PM. WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL YOUR REPORTS THST THE OARKS ARE EMPTY FAKE BEWS????????
