October Park Hours
Each week, Walt Disney World releases Park hours for one week at a time. We are currently receiving weekly updates for Park hours in October. Last week we shared the new hours for the Walt Disney World Parks for October 17th through October 23rd. You can check out these new Park hours HERE.
Walt Disney World has now included new dates with extended hours in the Disney Parks for select Guests.
Who Receives Extended Hours?
In honor of the Magic Kingdom’s 50th anniversary, Walt Disney World is offering extended hours for select dates for select Guests. What does that mean excactly?
Guests staying at Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resort hotels can enjoy these extended hours. These Resorts include the following:
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
- Disney’s Beach Club Resort
- Disney’s BoardWalk Inn
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
- Disney’s Deluxe Villa Resort
- Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’ Wilderness Lodge
- Copper Creek Villas and Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Wilderness Lodge
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas: Jambo House
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas: Kidani Village
- Disney’s Beach Club Villas

New Extended Hours
Earlier, Disney shared he first four dates and Parks for extended hours for Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Disney Guests:
- Monday, October 4: EPCOT from 10:00 to midnight
- Wednesday, October 6: Magic Kingdom from 9:00 to 11:00
- Monday, October 11: EPCOT from 10:00 to midnight
- Wednesday, October 13: Magic Kingdom from 9:00 to 11:00
This is such a great way to enjoy the Parks and take in some of your favorite rides at night.
Disney has now released 2 additional nights with extended hours:
- Monday, October 18: EPCOT 10:00pm to midnight
- Wednesday, October 20: Magic Kingdom 9:00pm to 11:00pm
I am so excited for the release of these extended hours. Guests can enjoy the Parks illuminated brilliantly with the benefit of shorter waits for more popular attractions.
Guests can now enjoy extended hours on October 18th in EPCOT from 10:00pm-midnight and in the Magic Kingdom on October 20th from 9:00pm-11:00pm.
