Disney has announced increases in its dessert party prices. If you are planning to indulge in one of the Magic Kingdom’s three fireworks dessert parties, you might need a bigger budget depending on your travel dates.

Magic Kingdom offers a host of premium experiences that guests who have purchased park admission can add on to their visits. These experiences include dessert parties during the fireworks. The fireworks parties tend to be popular because they provide visitors reserved viewing areas along with an array of delectable treats.

If you are visiting between now and January 31st, the parties will be offered at their current cost. But, if you are traveling February 1 and beyond, expect a significant increase.

1. Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrow Land Terrace:

The dessert party currently costs $84 per adult and $50 per child, which is 3-9 by Disney’s measure. However, according to the Walt Disney World website, the party will increase to $99 per adult and $59 per child, which is around an 18% increase.

2. Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing:

This party costs $69 per adult and $41 per child. However, according to the Walt Disney World website, this party will see nearly a 15% increase to $79 per adult and $47 per child.

3. Magic Kingdom After Fireworks Dessert Party:
This party currently costs $69 per adult and $41 per child. However, according to the Walt Disney World website, this party will see nearly a 29% price increase to $89 per adult and $53 per child.

Note that Disney considers guests 10 and older to be adults and guests 3-9 to be children. Guests 2 and under can enjoy the events with a paying adult. Park admission is not included, and guests must have purchased admission to attend the fireworks parties.

Have you ever attended a dessert party in the Magic Kingdom? What effect do these increases have on your interest in the events?

Disney may be pricing themselves out of dessert parties.

What a shame that it is now cheaper to travel to Europe and actually experience the reality of history rather than watch a mouse dance in our own country. I am sick to death of Disney's method of keeping the riff raff out of their parks.

We just enjoyed the Terrace dessert party last week. But I feel that may be our last time. For just a little more, we could've attended a party or After Hours event.
