The popular Disney After Hours special ticket events have added additional dates for the Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

This popular event costs $125 per event per person and offers up to 5 hours of park time, with 3 of the hours being exclusive to the special event guests.  Rides are offered with little or no waiting, especially as the event continues late into the evening.  You also receive ice cream novelties, soda, water and popcorn at no additional charge.

We will be at AK on 11/13, which according to your crowd calendar is a "green" low crowd day. I logged on at 6:00 a.m. CST this morning for fastpasses and Flight of Passage, Everest and Safari were all gone, which surprised me tremendously. Would we be wise to change plans and spend the day at a different park and then purchase tickets for the AK After Hours event that night to ensure we get to ride the most popular attractions? Just shocked at the lack of FP+ availability on a day deemed as "green" Thank you so much in advance for your advice and insights.

What are typical wait times in the magic kingdom in August for the event? Is it possible to get in earlier than 8 with an actual 10pm close?

Two hours early is limit. Characters who meet have no wait during the event.

Do you anticipate these events to be more crowded than in years past? We did the MK After Hours in August of last year and it was amazing! Contemplating the MK event on January 6, 2020 but I am concerned we would find it much more crowded than our previous experience. Thoughts?

They only sell a few thousand tickets, so it shouldn't be bad
