August 2019 Disney World Crowd Calendar created

August 2019 Disney World Crowd Calendar created

For a stress-free Disney or Universal Studios vacation, let the FREE expert planners at Royal Carriage Vacations take care of every detail including dining reservations, applying discounts, and onboard cruise credit.

I just completed my August 2019 Disney World Crowd Calendar that includes the Extra Magic Hours schedule, Magic Kingdom parade and Fireworks, Fantasmic, Illuminations and Rivers of Light schedules.  Here’s the details.

I’ve listed the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party dates that I expect them to take place based on the initial park hours release.  Disney usually confirms the dates at some point between March and May.

Star Wars Fireworks aren’t listed that far in advance.  It doesn’t mean they won’t offer them, but they aren’t there yet.

Park hours could extend for some dates, but we will likely have to wait until summer.

Don’t forget that FREE Dining is available for August travel!

These are merely initial park hours and extra magic hours and things change A LOT over the next 6 months.  Hope it helps you plan out your days at least!  Here’s the link to my free Disney World Crowd Calendars!

Do you think fall crowds will be the same as in past years? Or do you think people will delay vacations for the Star Wars opening?

I won't predict Fall until I see actual data that I will need. Check back 6.5 months prior.

Do you expect Disney will offer any Disney After Hours events in any of the parks for August and September, and if so, when would they most likely announce them? Right now they only go through April. Thanks so much – love your calendars!

I can't predict that, but it seems possible that they could. Usually announced 2-3 months out
