The Magic Kingdom has offered the Tomorrowland Terrace Viewing and Plaza Viewing Fireworks Dessert Parties for a while now.  Today, Disney announced another, new Fireworks Dessert Party that will take place AFTER the fireworks are over!

Disney – Do you love fireworks? Do you love dessert? Are you a fan of MAGIC? Well then I have good news for you! Due to the popularity of the Fireworks Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom Park, there will now be an additional option – the After Fireworks Dessert Party starting on May 28.

Now you can experience the legendary fireworks over Cinderella Castle from a special viewing area in the Plaza Garden, and afterwards, head on over to Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant and indulge in a delicious array of all-you-care-to-enjoy desserts!

On the menu for this sweet experience are treats inspired by each of the lands of Magic Kingdom Park. Among the offerings are the S’mores Action Station (Frontierland), Pineapple Delights (Adventureland), Ooey Gooey Toffee Cakes (Liberty Square), Macarons (Fantasyland), a Cookie Table (Tomorrowland), and Strawberry Tarts (Main Street U.S.A.).

Savory Snacks at the Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park

But there’s more than just desserts! Savory snacks include cheese cubes, spinach dip with crackers, and house-made mini eggrolls. Fresh fruit is also available along with refreshing beverages such as sparkling apple juice, coffee, tea, and milk.

In addition, on July 3-4 and select nights during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, guests can enjoy special themed holiday treats as well as holiday fireworks.

Happily Ever After Fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park

Guests can begin making reservations for the After Fireworks Dessert Party on May 17 via phone by calling 407-WDW-DINE. Pricing is $69 for adults and $41 for children. Online reservations will be available starting on May 24.

For more information and to make reservations for all other dessert party experiences, visit the Walt Disney World Resort website or call 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463).

KtP – This would be a great option to extend your time in the park on dates where the fireworks begin with park closing.  You’ll be in the park an extra hour and you don’t need to forfeit you touring time.

Im not willing to pay 350.00 for our family to eat desserts! Our family of 5 can barely afford to go anymore as it is!

I am also concerned about overcrowding in the Plaza Garden Viewing Area, it would really not be cool to have paid for this priority seating to have it just as crowded as anywhere.

This is my concern. I’ve done it 4 times now but I do it because the purchase price is worth the lack of crowds. Unless they open a second area which would be okay

Agreed. We definitely didn't like the feeling of having to rush.

Seems awfully late to be eating desserts.... You'd think they'd do the desserts BEFORE the fireworks. Especially for those of us with bad stomachs. ; )

They do. I mentioned those two options
