NEW Seafood and Steakhouse coming to Epcot’s Japan Pavilion

Epcot continues it’s path toward re-creating itself in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary in 2021.  Now, it will offer a NEW Seafood and Steakhouse inside the Japan Pavilion!

The restaurant will takeover part of the Mitsukoshi Store, as well as some space that is currently backstage storage for the store and surrounding Japan pavilion.  This will be Japan’s 3rd Table Service restaurant.  Some insiders have said that this could be a Signature Dining experience, but that isn’t confirmed at this time.

The interior of the restaurant will offer the following themed rooms:

  • Material Room (Check-In, Lobby)
  • Earth Room
  • Stone Room
  • Wa Room
  • Water Room
  • Washi Room
  • Wood Room

Disney has not officially released any information, but we should have some official details in coming days.  The construction timeframe and potential opening date will come later as well.

What do you think of this new restaurant coming to Epcot’s Japan Pavilion?
