Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom has extended park hours for select dates in December and how that can affect your touring.
In order to provide extra touring time for guests attending the Magic Kingdom on Christmas party days, Walt Disney World has extended the park opening time to 8am on the following days:
- Sunday, December 10
- Tuesday, December 12
- Thursday, December 14
- Friday, December 15
- Sunday, December 17
- Tuesday, December 19
- Thursday, December 21
- Friday, December 22
If you were unable to reserve popular Fastpasses like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Peter Pan’s Flight or Enchanted Tales with Belle, you might want to check the 8am to 9am time frame now for these dates!

Have you heard anything about extending hours in the MK for after Christmas. We will be there on Dec 27th but the website says MK open from 9-10PM. Really. Only open until 10 that night on one of the busiest weeks there. I was totally expecting open to 1 AM or at the earliest 12 AM.
