Hurricane Irma Alters Disney Cruise Line Itineraries

Due to current weather conditions, Disney has altered current and upcoming itineraries for two of its Disney Cruise Line ships, the Disney Fantasy and the Disney Dream.

Disney Fantasy

The September 2nd cruise of the Disney Fantasy that is currently at sea has been modified in the following fashion. It is sailing a modified Western Caribbean itinerary, and is expected to return to Port Canaveral two days earlier than planned on Thursday, September 7th.

The September 9th sailing of the Disney Fantasy is cancelled.

Disney Dream

The September 4th cruise of the Disney Dream that is currently at sea is sailing a modified Bahamian cruise itinerary and will return to Port Canaveral one day earlier than planned on Thursday, September 7th.

The September 8th sailing of the Disney Dream is cancelled.

The September 11th sailing of the Disney Dream is cancelled.

Reimbursement

Disney issued the following information in regards to refunds and rescheduling of cruises.

Shortened Cruises

Guests on the sailings mentioned above that had shortened itineraries will be refunded for the missed nights of their voyage fare and provided a 25 percent discount on a future Disney Cruise Line itinerary, which may be booked starting Wednesday, September 13, 2017, through October 13, 2017, by calling 1-866-325-3905 or 407- 566-7032.

Canceled Cruises

For canceled cruises, refunds will automatically be processed back to the original form of payment used for the cruise booking. Travel Agents and Guests are invited to call us at 1-866-325-3905 or 407-566-7032 to book a future cruise at a 25 percent discount beginning Wednesday, September 13, 2017, through October 13, 2017.

Disney Cruise Line – Concern for Safety

Disney Cruise Line also issued the following statement: “While we always strive to deliver magical cruise vacations, nothing is more important to us than providing a safe experience for our guests and crew. We will continue to closely monitor Hurricane Irma and provide updates as necessary.”
