The Menu

Created by Disney’s award-winning culinary team, the buffet menu features traditional holiday fare with many options to please a variety of palates—such as carved maple-glazed turkey with thyme jus and cranberry-orange relish, sliced ham with sweet cherry glaze, traditional cornbread dressing with turkey giblet gravy, green bean casserole with fried onions, and roasted butternut squash bisque with cardamom scented crème fraiche.

After dinner, an incredible dessert buffet tempts guests with sweet treats such as dark-chocolate peppermint tarts, mini-bourbon pecan pies and baked apple-cranberry crisps with streusel topping.

Enhancement Options

Event planners can choose to add special enhancements to bring a special touch of yuletide cheer. Think of an exciting culinary action-station where guests watch as a chef prepares something special just for them, such an a hot-chocolate shots action-station or something really “cool”—a molecular gastronomy dessert station featuring liquid nitrogen!

To really get everyone in the holiday spirit, special entertainment options include a festive performance by a string trio or a group of carolers singing contemporary favorites. Or, to really “wow” guests, a personal appearance by beloved Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse dressed in their best holiday attire creates for an unexpected surprise.

Disney Park Experiences

Beyond the ballroom, planners can take their holiday celebration to another level by giving their guests an experience at a Disney park. One popular option includes treating guests to a viewing of the ever-popular Candlelight Processional at Epcot (additional valid theme park admission required), followed by a private dessert party overlooking the nightly Illuminations fireworks show.

Or, another option combines an early evening holiday party reception at Disney’s Contemporary Convention Center, featuring a variety of chef-selected hors d’oeuvres, followed by admission to Magic Kingdom Park for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party from 7 p.m. to midnight. This event option is available select nights, starting at $134 per person (minimum 20 people) and includes food and beverage, as well as specially priced theme park admission for the group.”

Which of these options appeal to you?  It might be fun to get a KtP Crew together for one of these this Winter.
