Michael Jackson and his ragtag band will face their final attempt to save the world at Epcot’s Captain EO attraction soon.
Captain EO’s final mission will take place on December 6, 2015 as Michael, Hooter and the gang dance and sing in true 80’s style one final time. If the attraction has any emotional attachment for you, stop by and say farewell before Hooter blasts the music one last time.

I'm 65 and have been a Michael Jackson fan like forever. Each of my visits to Epcot included a trip through that wonderful ride. Often more than one time. It is disappointing that it is closed.

While Captain EO is not in my top 50 attractions at WDW, I am saddened to hear that it is closing on the 6th. It was on my To Do List on the 7th. Maybe It will survive one more day and I can see it and Osborne Lights in their final years...
