Cinderella’s Royal Table will undergo a major refurbishment from January 5 through March 6 which means that Princess fans were going to be limited to Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Norway at Epcot for an opportunity to dine with multiple Princesses at once. To alieviate this issue, Disney World is preparing to offer “Cinderella’s Dining at Citricos – Breakfast and Brunch with the Disney Princesses.” Citricos is a restaurant inside the Grand Floridian resort that usually doesn’t offer breakfast.
Beginning January 8 you’ll be able to dine with Princesses in a unique setting that is also close to the Magic Kingdom. The meal will offer the traditional Wishing Ceremony that is offered at Cinderella’s Royal Table that includes a gift of wishing wands or wishing swords. I would expect the character rotation to resemble Cinderella’s Royal Table as well.

- Bakery Basket
Appetizers (Choice of One):
- Garden Salad – Artisanal Greens, Endive, Roasted Carrots, Sugar Snap Peas, and Marcona Almonds with Riesling Vinaigrette
- Assorted Fresh Fruits
Entrees (Choice of One):
- Traditional Breakfast – Scrambled Eggs, Sausage, Bacon, and Twice-cooked Breakfast Potatoes
- Scrambled Egg Whites, Hot Ten-Grain Cereal, Greek Yogurt topped with Granola, Whole-Grain Bread, and Fresh Fruit
- Steak and Slow-Poached Eggs with Twice-cooked Breakfast Potatoes and Wilted Spinach
- Grilled Ham and Biscuit, Slow Poached Eggs topped with Sausage Gravy
- Market-inspired Fish with Angel Hair Pasta, and Aromatic Tomato Sauce
- Florida Shrimp with Creamy Cheddar Cheese and Smoked Bacon Grits

- Bite-size Cheddar Cheese and Grapes
- Garden Salad – Fat-free Ranch Dressing

The cost of the meal will be $49.99 per adult and $31.99 per child 3 to 9 years of age. The meal will cost TWO Table Service credits on the Disney Dining Plan. Cinderella’s Dining at Citricos – Breakfast and Brunch with the Disney Princesses will be offered from 8:00am to 2:20pm daily from January 8 through March 6.
Annual passholders and DVC members can reserve this meal beginning December 3 and all other guests can reserve this meal beginning December 4. To make a reservation, call (407) WDW-DINE.

We dined at Citricos in early Feb. Cinderella, Jasmine, Belle, Snow White, and Ariel were there. The menu is as you have listed above, but also includes juice, water, tea, coffee, as well as a special adult beverage selection of either a mimosa or a bloody Mary, and a special kiddie beverage: either a strawberry smoothie for kids or one of two strange punch blends (lemonade, OJ, and Sprite, dubbed "Tink Drink" or apple juice, pineapple juice, grenadine, and ginger ale called Buzz Juice). Kids drinks come in a blue plastic Cinderlla/Citricos souvenir cup. The OJ was served to all without asking, then came the coffee and the specialty drinks! The princesses were all very sweet and took the time to greet, converse, hug and pose for pictures with our children. The service was excellent and the food was good. We were too stuffed by the time the dessert course arrived to be able to enjoy the treats! Toward the end of our meal, a cast member came to our table and asked if we had met all five princesses. Belle had passed our table just before we were seated, so they made a note and she came over to our table a few minutes later. The dining room was like any other nice restaurant, and certainly we missed a great opportunity to dine in the castle. That part was disappointing, but we had to make the most of it, forget the castle, and otherwise it was a very, very enjoyable time. My only complaint is that the wands given to the girls do not light up like the ones in the commercials (false advertising!). They were very cheap, less than dollar store quality. However, considering we met and had a photo opportunity with 5 beautiful princesses, and they were all so inviting and interactive with the kids, I will overlook the wand. At least it was glittery! : )

I was really looking forward to Cinderella's breakfast in the castle. I feel like the experience will be lacking the real magic of the experience at Citrico's, although I have made reservations for my family including two girls ages 3 and 7. Are there any reviews out there?
