Duffy’s 2011 Halloween attire will be worn at Epcot in 2012

The Disney Parks blog actually leaked the news and most of us missed it.

“Speaking of costumes, Duffy will be appearing in his Halloween attire at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Partyin Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort starting September 11. You can also find him dressed as a pumpkin at his friendship gazebo in World Showcase at Epcot from October 1-31.”

So, this is confirmation that Duffy can be added to our list of confirmed characters for MNSSHP for 2012

I hope its a NEW costume, but if not...the pumpkin is fine. I love Duffy. I always go to him irst at the MNSSHP..then onto Mickey and the Princesses. I only wish they would introuce the FP for the characters at the MNSSHP.

If he's wearing the same costume at Epcot, I'd meet him there and use my party time for other characters. Another reason I think he'll get a makeover, plus it accentuates the fact that they sell those costumes ;)

Duffy appeared in his pumpkin costume last year at MNSSHP and it sounds like he's appearing in the pumpkin costume again this year. Where did you read he's getting a new Costume? I think I'm missing something. We were going to skip Duffy at the party this year, but if he's in something other than the pumpkin we may rework our plans. Thanks!

Could be dressed as a pumpkin again this year for MNSSHP, but the blog was vague in two ways. One it specifically mentioned him as a pumpkin at epcot and two it stated that was the items were inspired by the costume he wore last year, thus implying that he would be wearing a different MNSSHP costume this year.

I'll be at the first party and will confirm his and other costumes live on the blog, twitter and facebook.
