Disney World reveals what will be inside Woody’s Lunchbox in Toy Story Land!  Find out more!!!

Disney Parks – “In the toy-filled backyard that is Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests “shrink” to the size of a toy and explore the world of Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and friends. In the middle of all the fun, Andy has taken his vintage Woody-themed lunch box and propped it open with a thermos, turning it into a walk-up window where his toys can grab a bite to eat. From a nearby tower, green army men stand at the ready, keeping watch for Andy’s return.

“Everyone has a special food memory, so it can be tricky putting a modern spin on the favorites,” explained Lenny DeGeorge, Concept Development Culinary Director for Walt Disney World, about the year-long menu development process.  “We honored these classic dishes by using the best ingredients to elevate the flavors. How we constructed the sandwiches was important, such as layering the ingredients in a specific order, to maximize textures and flavors. Why have a cold sandwich when you can have a toasted hot, gooey cheese-filled one?”

Here is a peek into Woody’s Lunch Box.

We were so sad to see Pizza Planet go! I thought they were just going to reopen it in Toy Storyland. Those food choices are not appealing at all! Kids love pizza!

Hollywood Studios has always been the most hit or miss for me with counter service options, so I'm excited about the addition :) I definitely want to try the Monte Cristo!

Disney is a magical place…but let’s face facts, it’s a business. Disney is going to cater to the masses and those masses don’t happen to be vegans. Vegans make up approximately 0.5 percent of the American population (according to Vegetarianism Times) and are therefore, do not represent a majority of those people who will visit Disney. This is a theme park, people! They serve theme park food! I don’t care for Thai food, but I don’t get upset when I go to a Thai restaurant and they serve Thai food. Honestly, kudos on your life choices…but they are just that, choices. This is not public school, you don’t have any “food rights”. Rant over.

Haha, totchos? It’s called a Frito Pie where I’m from. I guess they can’t use the “Frito” brand name :)
