Flights of Wonder to be replaced by new show featuring Dug and Russell

Back in October I broke the news that Flights of Wonder would be coming to an end in the near future.  Today, Disney World announced that Flights of Wonder will be replaced by a new show featuring Dug and Russell from Pixar’s movie “UP.”

Flights of Wonder will experience its final show on December 31, 2017 and will reopen in “Spring” 2018 as a new show that features everyone’s favorite young explorer and his faithful companion.

The birds will return to this new show held in Caravan Theater in Anandapur Village in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  The premise is that Dug and Russell are out exploring and they find a variety of birds.  Perhaps they could create an appearance by Kevin???

More updates are sure to come from Disney World at a later time.

Hate to disagree with everyone else, but I love Dug & Russell... It'll be a nice change.

I absolutely love flights of wonder. It's educational, funny, and just plain wonderful. I hope this new show can live up to flights of wonder. I will miss this show.
