Room discounts
Annual Passholders often receive terrific discounts on rooms. The savings can sometimes be as high as 45% off standard rack rates. The Deluxe resorts typically offer the deepest discounts and the value resorts offer the smallest discounts. Some guests actually save more money on a Deluxe resort discount during fall value season vs the typical FREE dining session. Discounts are usually offered 2 to 6 months in advance and the best discounts are usually when the attendance is expected to be the lightest, so it’s a win-win for you. Discounts typically aren’t offered during Holiday peak seasons.
An annual passholder may book up to 3 rooms during the same booking time frame at the special rate. The annual pass must be in the name of the person making the reservation and the annual passholder will be required to use a credit card in their name as well. You cannot use a child’s annual pass to reserve rooms.
The annual passholder isn’t required to have the pass at the time of booking, but may be asked to show it at check in. They typically accept the exchange certificate at check in as well.
Free parking
Seasonal passholders do not receive a free parking privilege, only regular Annual passholders. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World hotel, you receive free parking at the theme parks as well. Here’s the current cost of parking per day as of January 8, 2015.
